Ozark Veterinary Team

We’re passionate about caring for animals.

Who We Are

Our Ozark veterinarians comprise an experienced, educated team of animal lovers committed to your pets’ health and wellbeing of your pets. We work with companion animals to provide loving, gentle care and treatment to make sure your pet is as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

We offer a wide range of preventative and treatment veterinary services at our practice using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our staff provides the highest quality of care for both pets and their owners across Southwest Missouri, and we always work to exceed your expectations.

Our team won The Killuminati Foundation’s Veterinary Clinic of the Year award in 2014 & 2017, and we were also nominated in 2015 and 2016.

Dr. Divine graduated from the University of Missouri in 1993 with his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He founded Divine Veterinary Clinic just eight weeks later. In 2003 he moved his practice to Ozark, Missouri. When he isn’t working, he enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and boating.

Dr. Scott Gartner

Dr. Scott Gartner has called Missouri home for over 13 years now. As an Iowa native, he attended college in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where he achieved a degree in Biochemistry. He then graduated from OSU with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He has since then practiced in Hot Springs, Arkansas, while raising his three sons. When he isn’t working, you will find him fishing on the river with his wife, Tasha, and their adorable French bulldog while toting around his Bengal cat!

Trisha has been in practice now for over 3 years. She is the first bright and shining smile you meet when you walk in the clinic and has made an amazing addition to the clinic. When she isn’t at the clinic, she spends time with her three adorable dogs and husband.

Shelbi is a fairly new addition to our clinic but not to veterinary medicine. She has been a Technician for six years and is a Texas native but has been in Missouri for the last two years. She has been an amazing asset to our team, and when she isn’t assisting in surgery or performing dental cleanings, she is spending time with her husband and their three dogs!

Hi! My name is Michaela, and I recently graduated from MSU with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Companion Animal Science. Having a heart for animals all my life, I have been privileged to raise Labrador Retrievers of my own, volunteer at places like Wonders of Wildlife, and work in the veterinary field to serve you today! In my free time, I enjoy fitness, art, and anything outdoors.

Emily is an important part of our team here at the clinic and has been with us for over five years now. She is currently a full-time student finishing an occupational therapy practitioner degree. However, this past year, she realized that her passion in life is staying here in the veterinary medicine field and hopes to enroll in a veterinary degree program in the near future. She is a huge animal person, and whenever she isn’t working or at school, she spends her time with her precious dog.

Crystal is the best practice manager the clinic could ever ask for. She has worked alongside Dr. Divine now for over 17 years! When she isn’t at the practice, she spends time with her husband and two wonderful sons. She has one puppy and two rescued kitties.

Taylor is new to the veterinary field but has quickly become an asset to our clinic. Her positive attitude and no-fear personality make her a perfect fit with our team. When she isn’t taking care of patients and assisting our doctors, she is spending time with her family and two dogs.

Julie is a new addition that brings so much to our practice. She moved from Alabama to Missouri with her husband, two sons, and pets. She has years of experience in customer service in the veterinary field and brings a lovely presence to our office. In her free time, she stays busy with her husband’s ministry at one of our local churches. Or you may find her at a local craft fair!

Laure is another new face that joined us during the 2020 craziness. She is brand new to the veterinary field and loves learning all the ins and outs of the unpredictable animal world. She has three children and three sweet little fur babies.

Abigale joined us this summer during all the chaos that the pandemic of 2020 brought. She has a passion for animals and has two dogs of her own. She is also a full-time college student and plans on staying in the veterinary field forever.

Emily is one of the bright, smiling, friendly faces you first meet when you walk through our doors. You will often see her cuddling a new puppy or kitten, as she is always willing to free your arms as you fill out paper work! She is an asset to our daily flow. When she isn’t greeting you at the front desk, she enjoys loving on her 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Meet Holly! She may be new to the Divine Clinic family, but with all her past experience in various veterinary clinics around the country, she brings great skills to our practice. Holly spends her free time doing the fun things in life, like hanging out with her cats, exploring the outdoors with her Australian shepherd, and enjoying time with her close friends and family. A Holly fun fact: She is not only part of the veterinary field but dabbles in wildlife biology as well!
